Job Description
We are seeking a Children's Support Worker to join our team our team in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
This role is an incredible opportunity to develop your skills alongside an experienced with a clear pathway to becoming a Senior Support Worker with a fully funded Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
Responsibilities
Offer companionship and emotional support to young people, fostering a positive environment. Become a willing participant! From impromptu makeovers to discussing the latest TikTok trends or football scores! Maintain a clean and safe environment for the young people, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual young people's needs. Have fun! be ready to have a lot of fun while also providing crucial support during overwhelming emotions.
Qualifications
Previous experience in working with young people Hold a clear DBS check Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues. Have a driving licence Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments. Are eager to complete an 18 month Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare.
