Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging social interaction and community involvement.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress towards goals.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
Skills
Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and their families.
Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients.
Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting purposes.
A background in childcare can be beneficial in understanding the needs of younger clients.
