We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals, particularly children, ensuring their well-being and helping them achieve their personal goals. This role requires effective communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to follow care plans meticulously.
Duties
Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system.
Provide childcare support, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and progress made.
Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Drive clients to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to follow care plans accurately and adapt as necessary.
IT proficiency for record keeping and communication tasks.
A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients.
A caring disposition with a passion for helping others.
