About the Role

We are a small, family-run residential children's home in Uxbridge, providing a therapeutic, safe, and nurturing environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma and emotional difficulties.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable

Children Support Worker

to join our dedicated team. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent emotional and practical support to children and young people Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a role model Implement therapeutic care plans and behaviour strategies Support the development of life skills, independence, and confidence Maintain a structured, safe, and caring home environment Follow safeguarding policies and ensure children's welfare is prioritised Accurately record observations and contribute to individual care plans
Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a residential childcare setting -

Preferred

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) -

Preferred

Knowledge or experience of therapeutic approaches to care A calm, empathetic, and child-focused approach Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills Full UK driving licence -
