Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our small swimming teaching team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages from baby to Stage 10, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Ripple Kids is an established highly regarded children's swim school based in Abingdon, South Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

Conduct small group swimming lessons for various age groups Deliver quality private lessons Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety skills, in a fun and engaging way Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations. Communicate effectively with students and their families

Requirements

Level 1 or higher Swimming Teaching/Aquatics qualification (STA or ASA) Previous experience in sports coaching or swimming teaching Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages. Ability to work every Sunday in term time. Current certification in lifeguarding or NRASTAC A genuine passion for teaching and helping others improve their swimming abilities.
