Your Role





As a children's psychotherapist, you'll:


Provide one-on-one and group therapy to children, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs. Work closely with carers, families, and our Health and Wellbeing Team to create and implement personalised support strategies. Help teams understand children's behaviours, offering insight and training to enhance their practice. Develop therapeutic plans and reports that make a tangible difference in children's lives. Use our outdoor spaces and facilities to inspire and engage children in meaningful ways. Operate flexibly, with time spent at our Penrith Head Office, in children's homes, and occasionally working from home. Travel across Cumbria regularly to connect with children and care teams.

What We're Looking For





We need someone with:


Substantial experience working directly with children in a counselling or psychological capacity. A UKCP/BACP registration and a Level 4 (or higher) counselling qualification.
