Your Role
AS a Registered Home Manager, you'll lead by example -- combining your strong operational oversight with warmth, creativity, and compassion. You'll cultivate a positive team culture where children feel safe, staff feel supported, and excellence is the standard.
You will:
Provide inspirational leadership to your team, ensuring the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Embed trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches in daily practice.
Develop and review individualised care plans that place each child's voice and needs at the centre.
Drive compliance with Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations, ensuring quality and safeguarding are never compromised.
Lead audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage budgets effectively while focusing on the wellbeing and progress of every young person.
Build strong relationships with families, professionals, and the wider community to support positive outcomes.
About You
You are a confident, caring leader with a
proven track record
of success in children's residential care. You bring calm, structure, and heart to challenging situations -- and you're motivated by making a genuine difference.
What we hope you will bring:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Services (or working towards).
Minimum 2 years' management experience in a children's residential or social care setting.
A strong understanding of trauma, attachment, and child development.
Excellent safeguarding knowledge and crisis management skills.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence.
