Job Summary


The Residential Semi- Independent Manager is responsible for overseeing a small business 4 bed the daily operations of a residential home, ensuring that residents receive high-quality support in a safe and supportive environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to resident wellbeing, and the ability to manage staff effectively. The Residential Manager will work closely with key workers to develop and implement care plans, and supervise all aspects of care planning in delivery.

Duties



Manage the overall operations of the Semi- Independent facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Supervise and support nursing staff in the The implementation of individual care plans. Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and oversee the development of personalised care plans. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents, promoting their dignity and independence. Lead staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and ensure high standards of care. Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate services for residents. Maintain accurate records of resident care, incidents, and staffing levels in accordance with organisational policies. Address any concerns or complaints from residents or their families promptly and professionally.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a residential setting for a minimum of 2 years is essential. Must have or willing to obtain level 5 in health and social care or level 5 children and young people. Strong knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to resident care. Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temporary

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
