Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food production and preparation, demonstrating a strong commitment to food safety and quality.
Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Uphold excellent hospitality standards, ensuring all guests receive outstanding service.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a Chinese takeaway or similar setting, with strong culinary skills. Cantonese or Mandarin speaking
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21-17.37 per hour
Expected hours: 54 per week
