Established in July 2014, the Chiropractic Centre Billericay & Brentwood has experienced remarkable growth, collaborating seamlessly with our exceptional Doctors of Chiropractic and other healthcare experts including our massage therapists. Over time, we have nurtured and consistently developed a robust and favourable rapport within our neighbouring communities of Billericay and Brentwood, extending to the nearby regions encompassing Basildon, Wickford, and Chelmsford.

The Role



As a result of our rapid expansion and dedicated community service, we are in the process of hiring an extra part-time Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our thriving and dynamic centres in Billericay & Brentwood. This role serves as the initial point of contact for our patients, making a professional, positive, and approachable attitude absolutely essential.

Responsibilities, Duties and Roles:



To provide an excellent client focused and unique experience. To provide a general support role in front desk operations to include all aspects of diary management: booking and amending client appointments, taking client payment, solving any general client queries. To take responsibility for ensuring the accurate running of everyday tasks within the clinic and within a timely manner. To participate in regular training of policies and procedures as well as attending practice meetings once per month. To provide support to all practitioners and carry out requests as instructed, as well as providing support within the reception team, and effectively communicating daily information. To attend educational conferences and workshops when required to do so. To attend local events where we promote our clinic. To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this job.

The Person



While prior industry experience is not a prerequisite, strong organisational abilities and adeptness at multitasking are essential due to the considerable demands and activity associated with this role. Demonstrating self-motivation and a commitment to continuous learning and development is imperative. Computer literacy, including full proficiency in Microsoft Office, is a non-negotiable requirement, and an eagerness to attain proficiency in our internal database system is also expected.

In addition to technical skills, we are seeking a candidate who brings a positive and energetic attitude to the role. The ideal candidate leaves personal challenges at the door, exudes happiness, and possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Being people-oriented and comfortable in social interactions is crucial, as the role involves regular communication with clients. A warm and welcoming demeanour, along with a constant smile, is a key aspect of the candidate we are looking for

These hours may be subject to change in the future as the company continues to expand. You will also be required to work additional hours by prior arrangement when other team members are absent or on holiday which provides an opportunity to increase earnings. There is also potential for additional hours becoming available in the future.

This position requires the capability to operate at both our Billericay and Brentwood establishments, so commuting to both locations will be expected.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
