Holiday Camp Team Leaders/Assistant - CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

Locations: Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, North Somerset, Baines, Torbay.

Job Type:

Temporary (with opportunities for future employment during school holidays)

Salary:

12-14 per hour depending on experience and role.

Pro-Coaching has been working with children for over 23 years. We are a dynamic, growing organisation that delivers engaging and rewarding activities for children during school holidays. Our holiday camps provide fun, safe, and enriching experiences for children while supporting their development.

Role Overview:

We are seeking

confident, enthusiastic, and reliable staff

to join our team and lead/ assist at our holiday camps. This role is ideally suited to

sports coaches, teachers, teaching assistants

, or those working towards these roles who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise children in a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, food making and team-building exercises. Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for all participants. Collaborate with other staff members to deliver engaging and well-organised sessions. Uphold safeguarding, health and safety practices and support the well-being of all children. Assist in set-up and of activity areas as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience working with children

in a coaching, teaching, or similar role is

essential.

Confident, enthusiastic, and approachable

personality with strong communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and

adapt to a fast-paced environment.

A valid Enhanced DBS

(Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one. Completion of

safeguarding training

(or willingness to complete it). Food hygiene certification is advantageous but not essential. Ability to follow procedures Positive, friendly attitude.

Additional Information:

We prioritise full-week availability to maintain consistency for the children and the team. Successful candidates will be expected to complete required training before starting. As we have a number of locations in the Somerset and Dorset areas, candidates with a full a full UK driving licence will be prioritised.
