Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, ensuring adherence to food safety standards Assist with food preparation tasks to maintain quality and efficiency during busy periods Serve customers courteously, taking orders accurately and processing payments efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sanitising surfaces and utensils Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts Manage time effectively to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during busy service times Follow health and safety regulations diligently, including proper handling of food items and equipment

Skills

Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards Previous barista experience or serving background is advantageous Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks accurately and efficiently Good organisational skills with strong time management abilities Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members Ability to work flexibly during peak seasons, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic environment
