We have an exciting opportunity for a Cinema Marketing Manager to join our group company, Searchlight Ventures!





SearchLight Ventures is a cinema, entertainment, and hospitality group, operating 18 venues across the UK, including Light Cinemas, Light Entertainment, and All Star Lanes.



Our latest site in Huddersfield, opened in April 2025, offers 15 leisure activities and six cinema screens across three floors, covering over 70,000 square feet. Technology and data drive our operations, but our focus remains on providing excellent service and experiences for our guests.


As we grow, we are continually seeking talented and passionate individuals and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cinema Marketing Manager to join our head office team at Searchlight Ventures.


The Role:





As our Cinema Marketing Manager, you'll take on a role that puts you at the forefront of our cinema marketing plan, collaborating with a dynamic marketing team to roll out a multi-channel strategy. You'll own the brand's positioning for cinema and be the driving force behind successful campaigns, working across departments to ensure that every marketing initiative drives our cinemas to commercial success.


What you will be doing:




Devise, lead and deliver the cinema marketing plan. Oversee onscreen advertising (via DCM) and trade marketing activity for all film content. Working within the marketing team to build the profile and presence for The Light's film programme, developing strong and engaging multi-channel campaigns, delighting our guests and connecting with the right audiences. Monitor website content to maximise our film programme, enhance user journey and drive conversion. Work with film distributors to ensure all sites have required marketing materials. Advise and devise trailering plan for sites with Film Director. Oversee on-sites film point of sale and maintain tracker to ensure sites have sufficient visibility. Leads on membership campaigns and growth. Manage overall gifting programme to ensure sites exceed revenue targets. Coordinates merchandise programme, working with Ops and key licensors on merch calendar. Collaborate with Events & CSR Manager to ensure delivery of in-venue activations. Supports Head of Department on Sponsorship and Partnerships, ensuring effective campaign delivery Attend and network at film events and screenings on behalf of the company. Update KPI reports regularly and share trends with the wider team.

What you need to succeed:




A passion for film. Excellent stakeholder and team management skills. Demonstrated success managing marketing campaigns from ideation to execution and review. A creative thinker who's passionate about brand storytelling and performance marketing. Confident analysing performance data to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
