Job Description

Primary role:

To assist the Management Team with the day to day operating procedures in The Arc Cinema, Peterhead. They will be expected to join a team that delivers the highest standards of customer care while working in a fast paced environment.

The Position:

The role of a cinema operative includes but is not limited to:

- Serving our guests with an upbeat and conversational attitude.

- Clearing and cleaning of auditoriums between movies to a high standard in a short space of time.

- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness throughout the cinema using your own initiative to maintain excellent standards.

- Ensuring compliance with The Arc Cinema's HACCP system while operating within your role.

Most importantly - provide excellent customer care to everybody who visits The Arc Cinema, Peterhead!

The Person:

An enthusiastic people person with an outgoing personality.
A multi-tasker who thrives in an active and busy environment, whilst still maintaining the discipline to carry out routine tasks satisfactorily.
Attention to detail, most particularly around presentation and customer care.
Applicants must be available to work

Friday evenings, Saturday (day & evening) and Sundays (day & evening)

- weekday availability is advantageous.

This is a variable hour contract, each week hours can change amount, there is no guaranteed hours

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the cinema industry, many shifts will require you to work evenings (up to midnight) and therefore at this time only applicants aged 18 years or older will be considered

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 10.18-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
