Job Title: Cisco Unified Communications Engineer/Architect

Day Rate: \xc2\xa3550 - \xc2\xa3600 p/d Outside IR35

Salary: Also available as a top paying permanent position (details on application)

Contract Length: Initial 3-months (likely to be extended)

Hybrid Location: 3 days per week in Central London, 2 days remote

About the Role:

The client, a high profile, globally operating trading company, require a Cisco Unified Communications Specialist to become a key figure within their global network architecture team.

The candidate will be responsible for the development of global voice and AV systems (over 60 countries) including the interaction between those systems and other collaboration tools.

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced engineer that has the skills and desire to move into architecture, or has already moved into the architecture side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on input into engineering the development of global voice & AV systems
• Develop architecture plans and roadmaps for voice and multimedia services
• Prepare appropriate budgets and specifications for projects
• Operational management of voice and video environment
• Establish and maintain monitoring and alerting tools
• Interface with vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements.
• Communicate the strategic vision across stakeholders

Candidate Requirement:

• Expert hands-on Cisco Unified Comms engineering experience in major global environments
• In-depth experience of Cisco Unified Communications Manager and related tech
• Extensive knowledge of Enterprise voice, video technologies and unified communications
• In-depth experience of audio and video conferencing Back End systems
• Knowledge of video conferencing end points - Cisco series phones
• Experience of working with Unified Communications architecture and integration.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple VC platforms.
