Overview:
A global organisation that owns some of the world\xe2\x80\x99s most exciting brands is recruiting for an experienced Unified Communications / Video Lead who will be responsible for maintaining telephony and video conferencing as well as keeping up to date knowledge, trends and developments in UC. Our client is searching for an experienced engineer who will lead the migration of disparate telephony systems (Avaya) to MS teams video conferencing. To succeed, you must have a strong understanding of SIP and Polycom Systems with a MS 365 certification (Teams Voice Engineer Expert). This role is paying between \xc2\xa370,000 to \xc2\xa375,000 + 25% bonus + 5K On-call allowance + Hybrid working to be based in Central London (Bond Street) on occasions (1 x PW).

The role will fulfil project-related work and level 3 problem resolution in conjunction with the service desk team. The Tech lead will be part of a team of 5 varying Technology Leads and will have accountability for our printing management portal, telephony management portals, and video conferencing management portals.

Role & Responsibilities:
Primary technical lead for Video Conferencing, Telephony, MDM and Office365 related administrative portal to provide proactive management and support.
Responsible for the best practices on all collaboration and digital tools to comply with industry standard frameworks and policies.
Responsible for SIP configured video Conferencing unit\xe2\x80\x99s configuration and administration to meet operational and security standards.
Delivers technical solutions in conjunction with other projects and working with Service Desk team for systems that require specialist internal support resources.
Ensure IT systems are fully documented to audit changes and updates and to support business change and operations.
Plans, organizes, and manages technical support for relevant technologies.
Supports and acts as back up for other technology towers covered by other members of the team (Azure, Security, Networks, etc.)

Essential Skills & Experience:
VOIP Solutions (physical and virtual) such as NEC PBX, Vodafone, and Avaya virtual PBX
Migration experience from Avaya to MS Teams Infrastructure for an enterprise environment.
Familiarity with different types of video conferences, such as webinars, online meetings, and virtual events
Vodafone Virtual PBX management and administration
Avaya IP Office Web Manager management and administration
Extensive knowledge of software-based video conferencing tool such as Microsoft teams, or Bluejeans.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert.
Extensive knowledge of Polycom SVC-Based conferencing units including hardware and software advanced configuration
Proven experience of SIP management for video conferencing devices
Familiarity with Clevertouch touch screen TV\xe2\x80\x99s and related MDM Solution
Familiarity with Joan room booking system or similar.
