We are looking for a A Civil Engineering Technician who provides technical support to engineers in designing, constructing, and maintaining infrastructure projects like bridges, roads, and buildings. Key duties include using CAD software for technical drawings, conducting site surveys, analyzing soil and material samples, preparing reports, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. This role is split between office-based work and on-site visits, making it a hands-on position with a focus on technical problem-solving. .

About You:

You will be from a Civil Engineering background with a minimum of HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent. You will most likely be working on construction Sites with main or sub Contractor. Have proven experience in the accurate measurement, setting out, levelling & surveying of various site works It is vital that you possess excellent communication and people management skills and have the drive and enthusiasm to manage a project through to completion, within budget and program. You need to possess practical, problem solving and engineering abilities and the ability to work in high pressure environments and within a team. The successful candidate should ideally live locally to the London area or surroundings and be prepared to work on projects within the geographical area. Pervious experience in precast installation will be advantage.

Qualifications

Formal qualification in Civil Engineering Commitment to the highest practicable standards of Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental protection Good written and oral communication skills Full driving license Demonstrable experience in the same or similar role within construction preferable Knowledge of the requirements of Safety/Environmental Legislation preferable CSCS card
