Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee and manage civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of civil construction processes. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

Supervise daily operations on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. Manage a team of construction workers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance productivity. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project progression. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress and compliance with health and safety standards. Prepare reports on project status, including any issues or delays, and propose solutions to keep the project on track. Maintain accurate records of materials used, labour hours, and equipment maintenance.

Skills

Proven experience in supervising civil engineering or construction projects. Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear interaction with team members and stakeholders. Proficient in problem-solving with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges on-site. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Pay: Up to 52,000.00 per year
