Job Description

Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Supervisor to oversee oversee onsite delivery of the Mechanical and Electrical works for Solar projects deployment. Responsible for supervising all activity on site, including third parties. Ensuring that sites are completed safely, on time and according to the technical and quality specifications.

Duties



Site Management:


Open and close working permits. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the solar works (both mechanical and electrical), managing daily tasks (issuing job packs and reporting on completion), completing check lists and ensuring the project stays on track.

Team Coordination:



Leading and coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers, providing guidance, co-ordinating the activities with the customer.

H&S and Compliance:



Enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting inspections to ensure compliance with safety codes and maintaining documentation such as RAMS, permit to digs, etc. Manage daily checks on the plants and tools as well as operatives' trainings certificates and accreditations (both internal and external). Ensure compliance with the Construction Phase Plan for everyone on site including Telelink employees & third parties.

Quality Control:



Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure the installation adheres to design specifications and technical standards. Fulfilling checklists for each engineering element (ramming, structure install, panels install, trenching works, electrical works, etc.)

Reporting and Documentation:



Maintaining accurate site documentation, preparing and submitting progress reports and managing material orders and deliveries.

Report all the daily good and bad practices.

Fulfil and submit As built drawings/sketches upon design deviations.

Stakeholder Engagement:



Acting as a point of contact on site for clients and other stakeholders, representing the company professionally and ensuring their expectations are met.

Problem Solving:



Identifying, analysing and resolving technical issues, conflicts and other problems that arise on-site to maintain project momentum.

Skills

- People leadership skills

Working knowledge of CDM Regulations - SSSTS

Valid CSCS card

RAMS training

Fire warden desirable

First Aid needed

Ability to read and understand drawings, design schematics and diagrams

Have an awareness of financial impact relating to performance and compliance

Full Driving License

Competent IT skills including knowledge and experience of a broad range of applications and packages - including mobile application tools (internal & customer)

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 40,000.00-43,000.00 per year
