HVSS specializes in the design, construction, installation, and commissioning of High Voltage Substation Systems up to 400kV. We provide comprehensive services for all aspects of high voltage substation civil and electrical construction from the earliest stages to testing & commissioning and handover.

Opportunity:

HVSS is seeking a qualified Civil Supervisor to join our dynamic team due to our expanding portfolio. This role is crucial for the ongoing development of the business and involves working on major high voltage substation projects across the UK.

Job Role:

Supervise and coordinate civil engineering activities on high voltage substation projects. Oversee groundworks and concrete base installations. Ensure compliance with specifications and civil engineering standards. Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and adherence to safety regulations. Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to resolve any technical issues and ensure optimal integration of civil works. Manage plant and machinery operations, ensuring all equipment is operated safely and effectively. Prepare and review engineering documents, drawings, and reports. Ensure environmental compliance and address any community or regulatory concerns related to civil works. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians. Working and non working

Working Hours:

45 hours per week - Flexible. Work from home, site, or office.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a civil supervisor in infrastructure or utilities, preferably in high voltage substations. Extensive experience in groundworks and concrete base installations. Strong project management and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range:

35,000 to 60,000 Depending on experience.
