Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Bridgend for a Civils Estimator. The Civils Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed tender bids, cost estimates, analysing project requirements, assessing material, labour and plant needs specific to each individual project. The role also involves reviewing project specifications, participating in pre-bid meetings, and providing cost recommendations to support decision-making.

Qualifications

Experience with preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, and bid proposals (minimum 3 years experience in this field) Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to review technical drawings and specifications Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project teams, suppliers, and clients Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimation and project management Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred Knowledge of the local industry and regulations in civil construction Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Salary Package / Benefits

Annual Salary 35,000-45,000 (depending on experience) Company Car / Car Allowance
