Job Title: Civils Groundworks EstimatorAbout the Role:We are seeking a skilled Civils Groundworks Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating for civil engineering and groundworks projects, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and play a key role in delivering high-quality projects.Key Responsibilities:*Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks projects.
*Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents.
*Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks.
*Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing information.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
*Analyse material, labour, and equipment costs to prepare competitive tenders.
*Assist in post-tender negotiations and contract reviews.
*Keep up to date with market trends, pricing, and industry regulations.Requirements:*Proven experience as an Estimator in the civil engineering or groundworks sector.
*Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, earthworks, and other civil works.
*Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
*Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Strong negotiation and communication skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
