Due to our continued success in the UK market we are expanding our team and looking for a Claims Co-ordinator to join us. We are seeking a proactive and confident Customer Service/Admin professional, who is looking to build and excel a career within the Insurance sector. The role is home based with occasional office visits (1 a quarter), so the ability to be self-motivated is an absolute must. The main duties and responsibilities will be to effectively undertake work allocated to you by your Team Leader, set up new claims on the claims system and be the first contact to policyholders on behalf of clients. Further duties will include:
Arrange and book appointments on behalf of the field staff within Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Coordinate visits and appointments to ensure best use of resource and money
Maintain documentation such as spreadsheets to ensure compliance with our clients
Ensure you have a solid understanding of client SLA's
Assist the field team in completing, reports, tasks and answering calls where necessary
Ensure referral of work to the field team throughout the day, highlighting any change in priorities
Maintaining claims on relevant IT systems to the highest possible standard
Our Ideal candidate
At this stage in your career, you should be well organised, have experience in managing multiple diaries/inboxes and be proactive in regards to your work approach. Ideally if you have worked with claims or in a claims setting that would be advantageous but not essential. The Ideal skill sets we are looking for would include:
Excellent telephone skills
Experience and understanding of great customer service
Excellent computer literacy
Articulation and good communication skills
Flexibility and adaptability
Working within a team environment and the ability to work under own initiative The ability to organise own workload
The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Desire to work towards CILA (certificate in loss adjusting) qualification
