We're looking for a

Claims Handler

to join us during an exciting period of growth. You'll be a key part of our

Credit Hire Division

, investigating liability, confirming claims that should progress to our fulfilment team, and supporting the recovery of credit hire charges.

What you'll be doing





Every day, you'll work closely with our FNOL (First Notification of Loss) and recoveries teams, assessing evidence and investigating both fault and non-fault accidents. You'll determine whether we can support a customer with a hire vehicle, and build strong relationships with clients -- even when conversations are tricky. This is a fast-paced, challenging role for someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking initiative.




Key responsibilities include:




Processing accident claims efficiently. Supporting all areas of the Credit Hire Operations Department. Updating our bespoke case management system with accurate progress reports. Liaising with insurers and engineers to resolve liability queries. Delivering excellent customer service through clear communication and problem-solving. Meeting strict service level agreements and deadlines.



What we're looking for




Strong empathy and communication skills. Self-motivated, confident, and persuasive, with excellent time management. Ability to handle urgency and complexity when needed. An interest in vehicles or the hire business is desirable. A proactive approach to problem-solving.
