We are hiring a

Claims Relationship Manager

to join our team. Do you have Group Income Protection or Group Risk industry experience? Do you love building relationships and engaging with high profile stakeholders? Would you love to work from home or on an Agile basis from our

As a Claims Relationship Manager, you'll provide comprehensive claims assessment and management services for a defined account portfolio. As well as authorise and process the payments of Group Protection claims.


You will work Monday-Friday and earn a base salary of up to 55,000, dependant on your experience.


What you'll be doing:

Provide an effective account management service, by developing and building effective relationships with IFA's and Policyholders (employers), both pre and post-sale, in order to maximise the outcomes of our claims management processes and promote understanding of our claims management philosophy Develop and build effective relationships with our external suppliers to ensure that we receive cost effective services Through liaison with our actuarial department provide Management Information on portfolio accounts which analyses key performance indicators for our Group Income Protection schemes Define, develop and deliver processes and systems to ensure a consistent, timely and accurate level of service is maintained in line with service level agreements and promises made to meet customers' expectations, and that are within scope of Legal & General's Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policies. Where failures are identified, provide information and feedback to the relevant areas to enable changes and improvements to be made Supporting Sales & Marketing areas in the development of opportunities to deliver our corporate protection proposition, including the delivery of presentations to win and retain business both virtually and face to face Propose and authorise expenditure on rehabilitation or work re-integration programmes up to 15,000 and authorise appropriate external medical evidence to support the assessment of the claim up to 5,000


Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills*
Excellent presentation skills both virtually and face to face*
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret a variety of data, with a good understanding of risk management*
Strong claims assessment skills*
Creative and strategic thinking*
In depth knowledge of all Group Protection products, especially Income Protection is desirable*
Good understanding of medical conditions and the effect these can have on an individual's ability to work*
Awareness of the investigative and rehabilitation services provided by external organisations*
