We're recruiting for a Claims Team Manager to join us. We're offering a

Are you an experienced leader who thrives on developing people and delivering excellent customer outcomes? We're looking for a Claims Team Manager to lead a team in providing a proactive and compassionate claims service. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a collaborative and inclusive environment where your leadership will help shape the future of our Group Protection Claims team.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and supporting a team of Claims Specialists to deliver high-quality service
Managing recruitment, development and performance to build a capable and engaged team
Overseeing the assessment and authorisation of claims within agreed authority limits
Collaborating with clients and advisers to promote our claims philosophy
Monitoring performance data and responding to trends to meet service targets
Ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements
Driving continuous improvement in processes, systems and customer experience
Championing a culture of fairness, inclusion and accountability across the team
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
Experience managing people and leading teams in a customer-focused environment
Strong knowledge of Group Protection products and claims processes
Excellent communication, analytical and decision-making skills
Understanding of relevant legislation such as GDPR, Equality Act and DWP benefits
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
A proactive approach to problem-solving and service improvement
Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices
A commitment to fairness, integrity and delivering good customer outcomes
