Claims Technician

Are you interested in Scuba Diving and Insurance Would you like to be part of a specialist Managing General Agent (MGA) Are you able to commute to Leigh on Sea?
We are a specialist provider of insurance to the UK and global diving community, providing unique insurance solutions for travellers, divers, and dive clubs/ schools.

As a small / medium size MGA we are looking to hire a full-time customer focused Claims Technician to assist with the handling of daily claims which includes:

Receiving new claims Review and collecting policy information Speaking to claimants via telephone / email Directing claims to the appropriate departments Dealing with Public Liability Claims Using in house software Taking incoming telephone queries will be required to assist with customer facing queries

We operate from offices bases in Leigh on Sea We provide General insurance to the UK and international business and reinsurance. In a regulated environment

What do you need?

A good understanding of the insurance industry Previous claims handling experience in Accident & Heath or Property Claims would be ideal Cert Cii Confident telephone manner Working knowledge of word, excel and outlook Ability to undertake and pass insurance specific training and compulsory professional development Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Terms:

Full Time Monday to Friday 9am -5pm Monthly Paid Professional training funded by the company
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,000.00-32,000.00 per year
