The Role:




We're looking for an experienced

Claims Technician

to support our

Field Loss Adjusters

in managing a range of domestic and commercial property claims, including those valued up to 100k and beyond. You'll liaise with our

Quadrassist repair network

to appoint approved suppliers and ensure that any agreed scope of works is completed efficiently and to a high standard.


If you come from an Insurance, Broker, or Loss Adjusting background and have proven experience in handling or supporting claims, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for a dedicated individual who consistently delivers excellent customer care, has a strong understanding of the claims process, regulations, and policy coverage, and demonstrates outstanding time management skills.

What you'll be doing:



To work alongside Loss Adjusters to project manage claims as required. Prepare and issue Loss Adjusting reports to Insurers in a timely manner. Obtaining substantiating documentation in relation to the claim such as pricing validation, fire, police, weather and Equifax reports Appointing Quadrassist / non-network suppliers and coordinating the QA files and contractors. Liaising with insurers and policyholders to gather necessary information for effective claims management. Generating and issuing written communication including reports, settlements and repudiations to policyholders Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements at all times and highlight any contravention to the Managing Director. During periods of surge, manage your own small portfolio of claims which will include negotiating, settling and repudiating claims within your authority level. You will have / be:



Previous intermediate property claims handling experience or transferrable skills relevant to the role, cradle to grave. Solid and accurate report writing skills Claims settlement negotiation skills Knowledgeable on principals of insurance and policy coverage terms and conditions Providing a proactive service to both internal and external Clients, ensuring accuracy and quality at all times. Team and customer first focused, ensuring all information is updated and shared in accordance with priorities and client/policy holder needs Able to communicate efficiently with policy holders and to respond effectively to challenging conversations Anticipate, identify, and remove hurdles/obstacles which may delay the claims process A proactive and flexible approach to workload, especially in times of surge events Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team Excellent communication and confidentiality skills * Able to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently
