Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations.

Shift pattern will be 4 on 4 off, with overtime available on other contracts or to cover holidays if required.

As this will be doing Container work, a general knowledge of how to operate a skelly trailer would be preferred but training can be given.

You will also be required to use app based systems for vehicle check and uploading POD to the costumers servers.

Responsibilities

- Drive lorries to transport goods over short or long distances

- Ensure goods are safely secured

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns and report follow the correct procedures.

- Follow traffic laws and regulations

- Maintain cleanliness and general maintenance of the lorry (be able to change bulb or do minor repair when required.)

- Ability to adhere to safety procedures and regulations

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 licence with no more than 6 penalty points Valid CPC and tacho Previous Class 1 driving experience on container preferably (2 year preferred) Available to start work Immediately
Wages is broken down in two areas.

PAYE 164 per day, and auto enrolled into the pension scheme after three month. 12 days holiday + 8 bank holidays a year giving 20 days total.

LTD: 200 per day. Holidays are to be notified two week in advance.

Pay: 164.00-200.00 per day
