The main function of this role is to deliver bakery products to our customers. Hours of work will be based on a rotating shift pattern including weekends starting between 5 and 7 pm.
Key Accountabilities

• To comply with all legal and company requirements for HGV Drivers eg Health & Safety, Vehicle road worthiness and checks, Drivers hours etc
• To always drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, including compliance with the Highway Code and any Company standards
• To apply SAFED driving techniques, in order to maximise levels of safety and fuel efficiency
• To comply with all Company delivery and collection procedures
• To comply with Company standards for customer service
• To report immediately to the FLM any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels
• To follow Company standards and procedures for working with, and accounting for, Company products and equipment, e.g. bread baskets & pallets.
• To comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications
• To carry out any duties, as required by the Company, e.g. unloading, refuelling and washing vehicles and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

The Right Person
Essential:

• C+E on driving licence
• One year's driving experience of class C+E vehicles
• The ability to work shifts; including weekends

• CPC Qualification
• A digital drivers card

Desirable

• Experience of driving with double deck trailers
