We have just opened a brand new site in Doncaster and we require Class 1 drivers to work weekends only to assist with our increasing volume. You will work a variety of routes and shifts so if you are local to Doncaster and are interested in joining a very well established family run logistics company then read on....

Days/Hours/Perks:

Various start times available 0200-0800 Saturday and Sunday only, either one or preferably both days Free, Secure on Site Parking Kitchen Facilities on site including Vending Machines and Fridges Saturday 220, Sunday 230 per day Friendly Working Environment Training on FLT available

Role Responsibilities:

Multidrop deliveries and collections in designated postcode area using tail lift and pump truck. Collections from regular and ad-hock customers. Picking and loading of pallets onto C&D vehicle from warehouse. Raising discrepancies for oversized freight. Labelling freight collected if required. Making sure loads are safely secured. Using a telephone App for receiving, updating and completing jobs Thorough vehicle checking before each journey. Represents the face of the company Cleaning of the cab internally and externally (depot facilities available)

Person Requirements:

Class 1 licence is mandatory (CE) Valid CPC and digital tacho card essential Two years Class 1 truck driving experience required, preferably within the Pallet Networks Less than 6 points on licence preferred (DR10, DD, CD, TT not accepted) Excellent driving skills and road safety knowledge Ability to work under pressure Able to meet the physical demands of the job eg loading/unloading, coupling/uncoupling, operating curtain-siders etc Confident user of a smart phone Reliable and flexible to meet the needs of the business Safety conscious ensuring that personal, vehicle and load safety, and that of others, is a key priority. Polite and customer focused * Pass internal driver assessment if one is required
