Job Title: Class 1 Tramper Driver

Location: Various UK Locations (Based out of Royston, Hertfordshire)

Salary: 45,000 - 47,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (Some flexibility may be required)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our team. The role involves transporting goods across various locations in the UK, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This position is suited for a driver who is comfortable working away from home during the week and is committed to maintaining high driving standards and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and efficiently. Transport and deliver goods across the UK. Ensure all loads are secure and comply with relevant transport regulations. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly. Maintain accurate records, including tachographs and delivery documentation. Adhere to all driving regulations and company policies. Ensure excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence. Valid Driver CPC and Digi-Tacho Card. Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience preferred. Experience in tramping work is desirable but not essential. Strong work ethic with a reliable and punctual approach. Ability to work independently and follow schedules effectively. Good geographical knowledge of the UK road network. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
