Designer Contracts is the UK's largest flooring contractor operating across 13 regional facilities. As well as floor covering, the company provides curtains and blinds, furniture and lighting.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our friendly team on a full-time basis delivering stock throughout the UK. This is based at our Central Distribution warehouse in Kettering.


The successful applicant will be required to ensure that all products are delivered and received in a timely manner and in good condition using one of our company HGVs. You will also assist in the warehouse in order to contribute to the smooth running of our Central Distribution Centre.

Salary -

40,500 plus bonus

We are looking for a reliable and punctual individual who has a positive and enthusiastic approach to work. A full UK driving licence including HGV Class 1 is essential as is an ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.

Key Requirements:

Must have a full HGV Class 1 driving licence Current and valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card Have great communication skills Have excellent time management skills Be self-motivated and adaptable Planned 3 route delivery programme where drivers rotate every 4 weeks Some routes require an overnight stay but no Bank Holidays or weekends
