We are seeking a skilled and reliable Night Shift Truck Driver to join our busy team in Northampton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to and from our Hub in Lichfield, as well as performing local trailer swaps. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and excellent driving skills. Experience with Double Deck Trailers is advantageous.

Full time position with regular hours working Monday - Friday 6pm - 6am.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. Safely transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good working condition. Secure loads safety and properly Adhere to company and hub policies regarding safety and operational procedures.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role. Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence appropriate for lorries. Familiarity with pallet network operations is highly desirable. Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of local roadways. Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members.
