Pace Logistics Services Ltd have a Full time Night trunk driver position available

Job will be trunking to one of our Pallet Hubs in Burton on Trent nightly Monday for Friday with a double deck curtain sided trailer

Wages are paid monthly@3132.13 per month less all taxes (

salaried with no week day overtime )

20 Days holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Shift starts 20.00pm and finish time will vary daily between 06.00am & 07.00am

References will be required

We are looking for someone with a polite enthusiastic manor and must have excellent attendance & punctuality in previous employments

As an HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across long distances during nighttime hours. Reporting to the Transport Manager, your core skills in driving and commercial driving will be essential in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. With relevant experience as a delivery driver, you will contribute to our commitment to exceptional service and reliability in logistics. Responsibilities

Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently during night trunk runs. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance. Collaborate with dispatch teams to optimize routes and schedules. Provide exceptional service to clients during the delivery process.

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 1 license Proven experience as a commercial driver Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance Background in delivery driving with a track record of timely deliveries Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying schedules

Pay: 37,585.60 per year
