Summary

Due to expansion we are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team at York Warehouse and Distribution Transport. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods on a Night Trunk to Burton Palletforce ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Your contribution is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Operate Articulated lorry safely and efficiently to transport goods. Ensure timely delivery of products to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Keep a clean and presentable truck.

Requirements

Valid commercial driving license (CPC) required. Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a commercial setting. Strong understanding of road safety regulations and practices. Excellent time management skills and reliability.
