Job Overview

We are seeking 3 reliable and skilled Class C&E Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage various driving conditions. Experience with flatbed lorries is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads, particularly for flatbed deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to company policies and procedures while on the road. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during transportation.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid HGV licence. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving. Ability to operate flatbed lorries effectively, including loading and unloading techniques. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving, particularly in challenging driving conditions.
