Overview

We are looking for class 2 drivers for our client in Bellshill. Ongoing cage work. Drivers mate will be there to help out. Start times between 4am and 6am.

Duties

Operate flatbed lorries to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, securing loads appropriately. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery.

Experience

Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid driver's licence suitable for operating flatbed lorries. Previous experience as a delivery driver is advantageous. Familiarity with road safety regulations and best practices in transportation. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.
