Overview

We are seeking reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver/ Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a valid commercial driving licence, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while on the road. This position will involve driving rigid flat bed vehicles, as well as performing basic labouring / ground work duties. Pay is Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) based.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vehicles to transport scaffold materials to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with yard staff regarding materials and loads. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Assist in daily on site labouring duties as needed. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.

Experience

Previous experience as a driver. Mechanical knowledge of vehicles is beneficial for troubleshooting minor issues. Experience with flatbed driving is a plus. CSCS Card is a plus but not required. Ability to carry out general labouring duties.
