Description
You will be driving our roll on roll off lorries. This will involve driving to customer sites to change compactor, open top and curtain side bins.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery and collection of roll-on/roll-off containers;
Removal of compactor containers from Company machines at customer sites;
Safe sheeting and securing of all travelling loads;
Interaction with customers at their sites;
Delivery of an excellent frontline service;
Accurate completion of paperwork at site for each Delivery/Collection;
Compliance with EU Tachograph Regulations ensuring all breaks are taken as stipulated;
Compliance with EU Working Time Directive ensuring all breaks are adhered to;
Communicate issues/problems/ breakdowns immediately to Weighbridge team;
Keep allocated vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness;
Ensure Driver vehicle daily checks are carried out within the first fifteen minutes of shift;
All Defects to be reported in a timely manner to the Maintenance team;
Conduct all duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and Safe Systems of Work;
To undertake other duties such as curtain-side or other deliveries on behalf of the company;
