Job Title: Class 2 Driver, Relief Warehouse Operative

Location: Glasgow branch

Reports to: Regional Operations Manager

Hours: Monday - Friday 41.5 hours with 30 minutes for lunch. Varied shift pattern

We're on the lookout for a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Class 2 Delivery Driver & support the Warehouse Team when you're back in the branch. This role is a blend of driving and hands-on warehouse duties, perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday.

Key responsibilities:

Multi-Drop Deliveries:

Execute daily deliveries per day using a 3.5 - 18.5 tonne vehicle across the Aberdeenshire area and may include other parts of Scotland.

Vehicle Management:

Ensure timely loading and unloading of the van, maintaining cleanliness and performing routine checks.

Delivery System Usage:

Utilise a mobile phone-based delivery system to manage routes and customer interactions.

Warehouse Support:

Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing

Requirements:

Driving Experience:

Proven experience driving large vehicles specifically 3.5 - 18.5 tonne vehicle, with multi-drop experience

Physical Fitness:

Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physically demanding tasks.

Tech-Savvy:

Comfortable using mobile devices for delivery management.

Team Player:

Willingness to support warehouse operations and collaborate with team members

Knowledgeable of routes across the Aberdeenshire and familiar with rural & city driving as you may cover other parts of Scotland.

Adaptable:

Ready to switch between driving and warehouse tasks as needed.
