About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a

Class 2 HGV Driver (Cat C)

to join our client's busy logistics operation based in Runcorn. This is a

long-term agency role

with the opportunity for a

permanent position

for the right candidate.

You'll work alongside a Driver's Mate delivering alcoholic beverages to pubs, bars, restaurants, and other licensed venues across the North West region. The role is physically active and customer-facing, ideal for professional drivers who value reliability, teamwork, and road safety.

Key Responsibilities

Complete daily vehicle safety checks before departure Carry out safe and efficient multi-drop deliveries with the support of a Driver's Mate Deliver excellent customer service at each drop-off point Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns as required Follow all health and safety, transport, and tachograph regulations Report any vehicle defects, route delays, or delivery issues promptly
About You

Valid HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence and up-to-date Driver CPC Good knowledge of Runcorn, Cheshire, and the wider North West area Strong communication and customer service skills Previous multi-drop experience preferred but not essential Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to safety standards Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
