We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle care. Responsibilities

Operate flatbed lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations Load and unload goods, ensuring securement of cargo during transit Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance Comply with all legal requirements regarding driving hours, weight limits, and safety standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues encountered during transit Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times during operations

Qualifications

Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with flatbed vehicles or similar heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) Delivery driver experience is highly desirable Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for cargo securement Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members professionally Physically fit to handle loading/unloading tasks when required
