Start Time: 06:00 AM
Pay:
314.00/hour (plus accrued holiday pay)
315.69/hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
Overtime available based on client needs
Are you an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver looking for steady, ongoing work in the Edinburgh area? We're recruiting on behalf of our client a key player in the food production and distribution industry, for a reliable and professional HGV driver to join their transport team on a temp basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected and long-established operation, delivering essential bulk food products to clients across Scotland.
xf0x9fx94xa7 Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
Ensure all deliveries are made on time and to the correct locations
Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
Work closely with a driver's mate who will assist with loading/unloading
Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers
Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy, and well-presented
xe2x9cx85 Requirements:
Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
CPC certification and Digital Tachograph card
Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
Good physical fitness - some heavy lifting is required
Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
