Beatson's Building Supplies is one of Scotland's largest independent Builders Merchants. We trade as Beatson's Building Supplies but have three other trading divisions of Beatson's Direct our ecommerce business, Beatson's Concrete our ready-mix concrete business and Skyline Roofing Supplies our specialist roofing merchant business. We employ around 140 people across our 6 sites in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline, Penicuik, Errol & Stirling.

An opportunity has arisen for full time Drivers to join our team in Cumbernauld. Working as part of a team, and reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out multi drop deliveries of building materials to businesses and private properties throughout central Scotland.

Your key responsibilities include:

Drive the vehicle safely in accordance with the law. Report damages, safety issues, accidents, or any other significant problems to the Group Transport Manager. Overseeing the loading of the vehicle with yard assistants so that products are safely loaded and correct against the customers' orders. Ensure that the arrival and delivery of the goods is safe and respect the customer's property. Check goods off with customer and complete the necessary company paperwork.

Key Skills:

HGV Class C Licence Current CPC and tacho cards Qualified HIAB experience is advantageous Multi-drop pick-up essential Volumetric Concrete experience is advantageous Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible approach to work Good time management Safety conscious Good geographical knowledge of Scotland
Salary: Depending on experience

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 0730-1700 and every second Saturday 0730-1200

Holidays: 29 days prorata (closed for 10 days over the festive period)

Uniform and PPE provided

Paid weekly
