Job Description

Lowden Building Supplies is currently recruiting HGV DRIVERS at their Forest Gate depot for a full time position. The successful candidate will be using rigid flatbed lorry ranging from 7.5T to 26T with HIAB grab to carry out multi drop deliveries.

Deliveries are required to be made to sites in and around the M25 or further if required. Drivers will be required to work 9 hour days on average.

Driver Requirements must have:

- HGV License

- Current Driver Qualification Card (CPC)

- HIAB Driver qualification or ALLMI Certificate

- Digital Tachograph Card

- Two years minimum driving and HIAB experience

- One year experience in a builders merchant

- No more than 6 points on license

Daily Responsibilities;

- Assisting and supervising loading of the lorry

- Excellent timekeeping and on time delivery of load to destination

- Ensuring safety whilst driving and offloading

- Completion of necessary paperwork

- Handling customer payments

Summary

Your expertise in operating HIAB equipment will enhance our logistics operations, making you an essential part of our team dedicated to exceptional service and reliability.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-51,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
