Class 2 Long Distance Driver with HIAB

42,000 - 45,000 a year - Full-time, Permanent
15.54 /hr
30 per night out
Parking charges paid by Company in Services & Truck Stops

No weekend work (occasional leaving on Sun PM and back in on Sat AM)

Up to 4 nights out per week

Job Summary

Varied and interesting multi-drop long distance deliveries on 26T rigid vehicles with Hiab cranes. Deliveries are to high profile sites for Government, MoD, Utilities companies, HS2 sites, commercial and retail developments, schools, Railway, Highways, stately homes, large private properties etc. - Anywhere where outdoor security systems are being installed - covering the whole of the UK.

Delivering camera poles, towers and other camera support steelwork, a good level of communication and a professional approach is needed as you will be coordinating with customers and installers, making final en-route arrangements and offloading and placing camera poles and other products with customer site personnel.

Qualifications and Skills

A great opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic HGV Driver to join our Transport Department.

Candidates must have good experience and be confident in handling customers and dealing with site personnel, operating hiab crane to offload and lift into place camera poles and other steel products.

Whilst good experience of using a HIAB is preferable it is not essential and for the right candidate HIAB training can be provided.
