Skip Lorry Driver - Redditch Skip Hire Limited

Redditch Skip Hire Limited is a leading waste management company, and we are seeking an experienced and reliable Skip Lorry Driver to join our team.

Location:

Redditch

Hours:

7am - 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent, (immediate start)

Competitive Salary:

14.50 -15 per hour (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a skip lorry to deliver, exchange and collect skips from residential and commercial locations. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects. Maintain accurate delivery and collection records using a hand held tablet. Provide excellent customer service. Adhere to all road safety regulations and working time directives. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Plan your daily route effectively, to complete your jobs in the most efficient order.
Essential Requirements:

Valid UK Category C (Class 2) driving license.

Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).

Valid Digital Tachograph card.

Minimum of 1 year experience driving a skip lorry.

Excellent driving skills and a responsible attitude.

Good communication and customer service skills.


Desirable but not essential: Experience with roll-on/roll-off vehicles, knowledge of waste management regulations, good knowledge of the local and surrounding areas and a clean driving license.
