We are seeking a skilled and certified MOT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. This role involves performing various technical tasks, including maintenance and repair work, while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations. The Technician will be responsible for heavy lifting and working in a physically demanding environment.
Duties
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and installations
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions
Assist in the assembly and disassembly of various components
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a similar role
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
