HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) - 4 On, 4 Off - Full-Time, Permanent

We're looking for a reliable and experienced

HGV Class 1 Driver

to join our team on a

full-time, permanent basis

. This role operates on a

4 on, 4 off shift pattern

, covering both

day and night shifts

.

What You'll Do:

As a key member of our logistics team, you'll ensure the

safe, timely, and accurate delivery

of sandwiches and food-to-go products to our valued customers. You'll also play a vital role in maintaining our

high food safety and hygiene standards

throughout the delivery process.

Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as a professional and courteous brand ambassador on every route. Completing all required

food safety and transport documentation

. Performing

vehicle temperature checks

before each delivery. Ensuring compliance with driving legislation and company policies. Keeping your vehicle clean inside and out. Returning and unloading empty baskets and pallets. Refuelling and recording odometer readings at the end of each shift.

What We're Looking For:

A

valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

, held for at least 2 years.

No more than 6 penalty points

on your licence. A valid

Driver CPC

and

Digi Tacho card

. Previous experience transporting

refrigerated goods

is a plus.

FLT experience

is desirable but not essential. A safe, courteous, and responsible driving style. A proactive attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure. A genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
